Terms and Conditions for After School Lego Club
Welcome to Lego Club! Please read the following terms and conditions carefully before enrolling your child. By enrolling, you agree to these terms.
1. Club Details
1.1 Target Audience: Monday Lego Club - Year 3-6 (Bushey Heath); Thursday Lego Club - Reception and KS1 (Broadfield Academy); Friday KS1 Lego Club - Year 1-2 (Bushey Heath); Lego Activity Day (Bushey Heath) Year 1 - 6
1.2 Maximum Capacity: 15 children (Bushey Heath; KS2); 10 children (Bushey Heath; KS1); 20 Children (Broadfield Academy; Reception & KS1); 25 children (Lego Activity Day). Enrolment is on a first-come, first-served basis.
1.3 Session Timing: Mondays, 3:30 PM – 5:30 PM (Bushey Heath; KS2); Thursdays 3.30pm - 4.30pm (Broadfield Academy; Reception & KS1); Fridays, 3.30pm - 4.30pm (Bushey Heath; KS1); 9.00am - 3.30pm (Lego Activity Day)
1.4 Locations: Bushey Heath Primary School & Broadfield Academy
2. Enrolment and Payments
2.1 Block Booking: Payments are required in advance for the entire half term block of sessions. There is a one-off payment for Activity Days.
2.2 Payment Method: Payments are made using the ClassForKids app, via card or bank transfer.
2.3 Booking Confirmation: A place in the club is only confirmed upon receipt of full payment.
3. Refund Policy
3.1 Bookings are non-refundable.
3.2 Club Cancellations: If a session is cancelled by the club due to unforeseen circumstances, a refund for that session will be provided. (See 7. Changes and Cancellations)
4. Supervision and Safety
4.1 Adult Supervision: The club will be supervised by an adult at all times.
4.2 Public Liability Insurance: The club holds public liability insurance for the safety and protection of all participants.
4.3 Emergency Contact Information: Parents/guardians must provide up-to-date emergency contact details at the time of enrolment.
5. Rules and Expectations
5.1 Behaviour: All children are expected to behave respectfully toward their peers, the instructor, and the Lego sets provided. Disruptive or unsafe behaviour may result in the child being asked to leave the club without a refund. Damage or loss to club property e.g. Lego sets may incur additional charges and/or removal of the child from the club. Parents are required to collect children immediately.
5.2 Participation: Children must arrive promptly to all sessions and be picked up promptly at the specified time. Late pick-ups may incur additional charges.
6. Activities
6.1 The club focuses on Lego set building and encourages creativity, teamwork, and fun..
6.2 Personal Belongings: While every effort is made to ensure the safety of personal items, the club is not responsible for any loss or damage to children’s belongings.
7. Changes and Cancellations
7.1 Cancellations by the Club: In the unlikely event that a session is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, parents will be notified as soon as possible, and a refund for the cancelled session will be issued.
7.2 Changes: The club reserves the right to make changes to the schedule or activities with reasonable notice to parents.
